Ryan & Ana's Wedding
Ryan & Ana met snowboarding with Evelyn & I. We planned a trip up with 5 of us: Ryan, Ana, Darren (Ryan's younger brother), Evelyn, & me. I just remember skiing along and then thinking 'Where are Ryan & Ana?', looking back and never really seeing them again until the end of the day. It was that quick. They hit it off and there personalities are very suiting with each other.
I remember getting a call from Ryan one day: 'Hey Phil, couple updates in my life: quit my job, sold the condo, going to travel South America for 4½ mos, got engaged, and am applying to grad school.' 'Huh?!!?!, whoa, hold on a sec, dang!! Cool, sweet, awesome, congrats, freakin-a dude, you're too young for a mid-life crisis!!'
Then when we were at Pine Flat Lake, Ryan & Ana asked if I would consider performing the wedding ceremony for them.
I said, yeah right dude, that's funny.
No, they said we're serious.
No really?!?
Yeah, really.
No really?!?
Yeah, really.
Come on...
Yeah, would you be up for that?
So, in November, the marriage took place in the Presidio, it was really fun and I was honored to help out. =)
