today's antics...
Ah, today isn’t over yet? It started so excitingly… =P We finally got a decent day of sun, so of course I had to cruise in on my bicycle. As I was pretty much exactly half way I got a flat. No biggie, I fixed that (the gentleman’s house that I broke down in front of came out and was watching me and chatting it up which was amusing). Then I went about 3mi further (note I had to turn down garden hwy as discovery park is flooded) and got another flat (due to a bum tire, which I was hoping would make it to work). Crap, I was basically about as far as I could get and just had to make a decision on which way I felt like walking… I called a few people to no avail, and headed back the way I came over to the bus stop. A bus rolled by about 30 mins later and I rode it into work. I just got back from borrowing my coworkers cruiser bicycle and went way deep down town to get a new tire and some tubes.
